| Hello, I am Todd Fletcher - also known as QuiltGeek. I have been involved in the longarm quilting industry for almost a decade -delivering and servicing Gammill longarm quilting machines. This also includes the computerized quilting machine, the Statler Stitcher. This has been with the Texas dealership for Gammill. I actually married into the industry. My wife's mother is Linda V. In addition to having years of experience working on the machine, I also teach classes all over the world about these amazing machines. Before I got into quilting, I worked as a drafter/software designer. I worked with CNC machines (which is what the Statler is). I have also worked as the executive producer for Gammill's promotional and training DVD's, including the Statler certified training series and the instructional DVD that goes out with all Gammill machines. I also co-produced all of Linda's videos and assisted in the production of her TV show "Linda's Longarm Quilting".
I had the pleasure of being invited to Statler headquarters to the"Statler Congress" - a group of about 7 people who created the foundational ideas behind the CreativeStudio software, which Matt Sherman took and developed into an amazing software form - that we are all very proud of.
I have taught basic and advanced Statler training covering PrecisionStitch, CreativeStudio and AutoSketch for over 5 years, which now includes online classes at thequiltingschool.com. I have degrees in Electromechanical Drafting and Information Technology.
You can read my updates and comments from my blog above. Also, I would really enjoy your company in my many online workshops and hands-on classes! |
